About the Founder
After spending years in corporate jobs that lacked sufficient training materials or opportunities, Kathryn took it upon herself to create job aids, train new hires, and document operational procedures. The realization of her passion for Training, Development, and Instructional Design struck when she stumbled upon the job title of "Workforce Trainer." As a young professional, Kathryn had always gathered and documented information for her teams and future colleagues but hadn't recognized Training and Development as a viable career path until spotting a job posting on a board. Without hesitation, she applied to the University of Memphis' Graduate Program, getting accepted just in time for the Fall semester.
Her journey led her to an internship with Newrest's HR department, but unfortunately, COVID-19 caused the cancellation of the internship, leaving Kathryn and over twenty other hires she had helped with, facing unexpected job losses in 2020.
However, Kathryn's determination led her to secure a pivotal contracted position with Relias, LLC, a renowned healthcare workforce education solutions provider. For a year, she excelled in converting outdated courses into updated versions, designing graphics, editing videos and audio, and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop new courses. In this role, Kathryn was able to unleash her creativity while honing her expertise in authoring tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS's), and innovative artificial intelligence technology.
Completing her contract with Relias, Kathryn found that her love for the freedom of remote work made the idea of returning to a traditional office environment unappealing. Recognizing that many corporate settings required in-office presence, she decided to forge her path and follow her passion by establishing her own venture. Thus, in July of 2023, Evermore Training Solutions, LLC, was born—a testament to Kathryn's relentless pursuit of her dreams in the field of Training and Development.
