About Diabetes - Rise 360 Course

The Scope

This is an eLearning course designed for healthcare workers who work in the home setting of their patients. The client, Relias LLC, wanted a course that was mobile optimized for learners that are on-the-go.

This course was developed with copy written by a nursing subject matter expert (SME), with the course authoring tool, Rise 360. Unlicensed healthcare workers may or may not have had education about chronic diseases, such as Diabetes. This eLearning course was designed for the home healthcare workers whose studies were exempt from certain oversight to familiarize themselves with chronic diseases, such as diabetes and the affects it can have on their patients’ bodies, emotions, and lifestyles.

The Why

This training was intended to inform healthcare workers about Diabetes and it affects on the human body, including situations that the healthcare worker may encounter in the home of a person who has Diabetes.

Homecare of the Premature Infant
Xyleme Course

The Scope

This is an eLearning course designed for healthcare workers who work in the home setting of their patients. The client, Relias LLC, wanted a course for health care workers that work with premature infants that have been discharged from the hospital.

  • High-level visual design for learner engagement

  • Diversity-Inclusive design and Imagery

  • Embedded knowledge checks

This course was developed with copy written by a nursing subject matter expert (SME), with use of the course authoring too, Xyleme. The target audience was licensed healthcare workers that work in the home setting. Images and graphics were carefully chosen or designed to align with medical accuracy and the text of the course.

The Why

This training was intended to inform healthcare workers about infants that are born prematurely, and the affects that may have on the infant’s body and/or development.

The Three D’s: Dementia, Delirium, and Depression - Storyline 360 Course

The Scope

This is an eLearning course demo, designed using copy from a previously designed course for healthcare workers who work in the home setting of their patients. The Demo design was for practice after learning to work with Articulate Storyline 360 course authoring tool.

This course demo was developed with copy written by a nursing subject matter expert (SME), with use of the course authoring too, StoryLine 360. The target audience was unlicensed healthcare workers that work in the home setting. Graphics and interactions were carefully designed to align with the text of the course, as well as to engage the learner.

This content of this course was designed to inform home healthcare workers about the differences between dementia, delirium, and depression, when working with patients in the home setting.
